On Monday we'll be tapping a keg of The Lost Abbey's 'The Angel's Share,' a bourbon barrel aged American Strong ale weighing in at 12%abv. Oak, vanilla, and dark, rich fruits comprise The Angel Share's nose; its pour is black, head is minimal, and light amounts of carbonation run the glass's walls. The Angel's Share is full bodied and complex, on the sweet side, but balanced and characteristically Belgian true to all Lost Abbey brews. This sought after, once yearly release will go fast; as always, our local beers are 2 for 1 Monday thru Friday from 4-7pm.
BrewDog's 'intergalactic fantastic oak aged stout' pours black and has a chocolatey nose with sweet dark fruits, and roasted malts. This imperial stout is alcohol heavy at 18.2% ABV, yet easy to drink, balanced and as dynamic as you'd expect from this bold Scottish brewery. Tokyo is brewed with cranberries and jasmine, then dry hopped, and finally aged to perfection on toasted French Oak chips.
Tokyo isn't a beer you'll see on tap lists often, so drop by Neighborhood and imbibe this otherworldly imperial stout.
It's raining outside, and storming inside; right now at Neighborhood all 27 of our taps are dedicated to Stone Brewing Company's Winter Storm 2010. The annual celebration starts February 7th at Stone's World Bistro and Gardens, and this year, we decided to follow suit as the first ever Winter Storm satellite location.
From 2009's best sellers to the most sought-after varieties from year's past, Stone Brewing Co.'s cellar is tapped, and will pour until we run out. See our offerings below.

If you've had the pleasure of visiting Stone World Bistro and Gardens, you've probably noticed that only a few of the 32 taps are actually Stone labels. For one week only that will change; on February 7th, Stone Brewing Company celebrates its annual Winter Storm, where all taps feature house-made brews. From seasonal releases, to year round brews, casks, vintages, collaborations, one-off creations, and bottles, Stone Brewing Co. is busting the best from its cellar all week long (thru January 13th), until they run out.
This is exciting stuff, but we are most pleased to announce that Neighborhood will be the first ever satellite location for Winter Storm, meaning that all 27 of our taps will be dedicated to Stone Brewing Company. The start date is the same as Stone's, and when we run out, we run out.
Weather the storm at Neighborhood, or the World Bistro and Gardens; come rain, shine or football (the Super Bowl!), Winter Storm will hit with force. A word of warning to beer geeks who are also NFL fans, you might want to get to one of these locations sooner rather than later to ensure a taste of your favorites before they tap out...
Neighborhood now offers gift cards. Why did we wait until after the holidays to start selling gift cards? We want you to enjoy what we do every day of the year. That, and we'd like to think we're above the holiday, mass-consumerism hype.
