Gnomegang at Neighborhood Tomorrow!!
May 16, 2011

Tuesday May 17th
at 5pm we are tapping Gnomegang,
the lovechild of Brasserie d
‘Achouffe and Ommegang
Brewing Companies, and trust me, this beer is not to be missed.
The
masters of the Belgian Brasserie d ‘Achouff and Ommegang brewery got
together in the summer of 2010 and the idea was born….lets bridge the gap of
the Atlantic Ocean and see what we can create together.
The
beer morphed and evolved through many tests and tastings to eventually become a
Belgian Strong Pale Ale. Chouffe
yeast was used in primary fermentation and Ommegang yeast in the secondary
spawning round, fruit forward and spicy yeast characteristics. Flavors also include
clove, light caramel, a smooth maltiness, and well-balanced hopping. Mouthfeel
offers a big, round body with full, fine carbonation. The finish is dry and
warming, lingering gracefully. Yummy.
Plus, free stuff...in case you weren't already convinced. With purchase of Gnomegang, La Chouffe or Ommegang Rare Voss you will receive a free stemmed La Chouffe or Ommegang glass, and other giveaways (limited quanity). See you tomorrow.
